Hopewell's Character Education program is led by our school counselor. Mrs. Jenne Wilson teaches about the character traits in the Character Education B.A.R.F. (Be A Real Friend) room. Students of the Month are nominated by classroom teachers and honored with a movie and pizza lunch. A great time is had by all!

September: Respect Showing high regard for authority, other people, self, and country. Treating others as you would want to be treated. Understanding that all people have value as human beings. |

October: Responsibility Being accountable in word and deed. Having a sense of duty to fulfill tasks with reliability, dependability and commitment.

November: Perseverance Pursuing worthy objectives with determination and patience while exhibiting fortitude when confronted with failure.

December: Caring Showing understanding of others by treating them with kindness, compassion, generosity, and a forgiving spirit.
