Computer H.O.T.T. Lab
The result of a Goals 2000 grant, Hopewell's Computer H.O.T.T. (Hands On
Technology & Training) Lab is equipped with 29 computers. Each child has a
computer work station to use during Computer Lab class time each week. The
children learn to type from a self-paced keyboarding program that monitors
individual progress. The children use a word processing program to enhance
typing skills. All the computers have Internet access so that the children
have the opportunity to do online research. The lab also has a scanner and
printers that enable the children to print their work.
