I love teaching 4th grade.  This will be my 16th year of teaching!!  I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades.  When school is out, I spend most of my time being a mom!  Being a teacher and a mom doesn't leave a lot of time for hobbies, but I love to read.  During Christmas break and in the summer, I read as much as I can.  When school is in, there isn't much time for reading--I'm usually cooking, cleaning, or grading papers!!!  

I like teaching 4th grade because I can share my love of books!!  I like to try to introduce my students to lots of different good books!  Social Studies is another great part of 4th grade.  When I was in school, it probably was my least favorite subject, but I love to introduce kids to American History and share the stories of our great country with a new generation!

My family likes to do a lot of things together.  We enjoy going camping, riding bicycles, riding motorcycles, and  playing golf!  You can tell we like to be outside!  We like to do pretty much anything that we can do as a family!
