Dear Parents:

Welcome back!  I am looking forward to being your child’s teacher this school year at Hopewell Elementary.  I am very excited about working with you and your child.  School will begin on Tuesday, August 7, 2007.  This will be an abbreviated day.  Below is a list of school supplies your child will need for our classroom.  Please try to have these supplies by the first day of school.

Wide-ruled loose-leaf paper
1 pack of #2 pencils
2 glue sticks
1 small pencil bag
3 6x6 boxes of Kleenex
1 pair of sharp-point scissors
1 red pen
1 box of twist-up crayons
2 spiral notebooks (apx. 100 pages each)
6 folders that hold loose-leaf paper in the center and have two (2) side pockets – (No Trapper Keepers) Please label these folders.
Red – Spelling
Blue – Math
Aqua or light blue – Reading
Purple – English
Yellow – Social Studies
Green – Science
2 bags of candy for treats or toys for the treasure chest
1 box of baby wipes
1 pack of wide dry erase markers
1 bottle of Fantastic
$5.00 for film developing (cash only)
If you would like to help out with supplies for the bunny, we could use rabbit food, litter, and shavings.


I will let you know at the beginning of the year the amount of the materials fee and the supplies that your child may need for library and music. I have missed the children very much, and I cannot wait to see them again. I know that we will have a wonderful school year!
