Meet the Teacher

Welcome to the 4th grade. I am very excited about having your child in my classroom. I am expecting our class to have an exciting year. I believe learning is a continuing process. This year, I will expect a lot from them. Technology will be used quiet frequently this year. Using technology in the classroom has changed my thinking in planning for teaching lessons and planning for learning.

I have been teaching for a number of years. I have many hobbies. They are sewing, gardening, and working with wood. I design and sew the curtains in my home. I work in my flower garden. I especially like day lilies and wild flowers. I have been working to get butterflies in my garden. Next year I plan to work on flowers to encourage hummingbirds to come to my garden. I also build things with wood. I designed and built the fireplace and cabinets in my den.

That is just a little about myself. I look forward working with your child and your this school year.
